Glenn Beck Calls Out Hypocrites

Glenn Calls Out Media & Liberals

Amazing. I have quoted this stat for over a year while talking about the Christian refugees ---who are the closest comparison to the Jewish Germans on the St Louis in 1938.
The press didn't care.
But, now that America sees what is happening in France and Germany and we are cautious of bringing Muslims in from a part of the world that accepts sharia law in the near 70% range you call us names. The same part of the world where a stadium full of Muslims just boo'd a moment of silence for France and then began to chant "Allah Akbar."

Turkey Fans Boo Moment of Silence for Paris Attacks, Then Break Out Into This Chant

And we are called "heartless."
Let me ask the press and the left a few questions:
Who among you have personally raised $12 million to rescue those Syrians and Iraqis in harms way?
Who among you have set up your own system to vet, transport, feed, house and teach a new language thousands of refugees?
Who among you have committed to support those families in transition for the first year?
Who among you have set up an international team from scratch and have met with presidents and prime ministers around the world trying to encourage them to soften their hearts?
Who can claim they have 120,000 people participating in their mission and 12,000 that have volunteered to take families in to their own home?
I can.
And I would like to introduce you to my audience. They are the most compassionate, caring and giving audience in America.
While those of you on the left whined about those with no heart when it came to the border over a year ago, we were busy raising money and delivering food, staples and diapers to the border.
$3 million dollars worth.
We did it for three solid months. LONG after the cameras (none of yours by the way) were gone.
So please don't lecture us about compassion.
We are Americans. We know our role. We are the most compassionate and giving people in the history of the world. Americans always have been and that is a verifiable fact.
Some of us actually believe real compassion doesn't come from the government but from our own personal action.
So, you keep protesting about your rights and will keep our head down and fulfill our responsibilities.
You keep mocking our God. We will continue to serve Him by loving and serving our fellow man. Even those who mock and despise us.
Btw: we will rescue our first group of Christian refugees before Christmas.
How about you?

What Americans Thought of Jewish Refugees Fleeing Nazi Europe

A sobering history lesson we should consider today.
It has been less than a week since the coordinated terrorist attacks in Paris that left at least 129 people dead and more than 350 wounded. Since then, the wheels of political posturing have been turning at a rapid pace. Countries throughout Europe have pledged solidarity with France after their defense minister invoked article 42-7 of the EU Lisbon Treaty, while French President Francois Hollande has already said he will break open his country’s debt laden piggy bank to implement a “massive increase in security and defense spending.”
These declarations and actions, which closely mirror similar posturing and financial commitments enacted by western powers leading up to World War II, are only part of the eerie similarity with the state of the world in the late 1930s. Millions of refugees pouring out of Syria are being greeted by closed borders and xenophobia, similar to that which Jewish refugees faced while attempting to flee Germany and Poland before the advent of the Holocaust in Nazi-controlled western Europe.
A series of tweets released on Monday by Historical Opinion, which curates public opinion surveys from the past, is a grim reminder of how quickly public sentiment can be swayed to abandon those displaced by war. Originally published in Fortune magazine in 1938, the surveys show that fewer than 5% of those polled wanted America to accept more European refugees fleeing a fast rising tide of fascism, the vast majority of which were Jewish.

A year later, after the events of Kristallnacht, in which more than 15,000 Jews were expelled from Germany to concentration camps by boxcar, a survey conducted by the American Institute of Public Opinion found that more than 60% of Americans were opposed to accepting Jewish refugee children, who were the most in need of asylum.
At the time, America was still digging its way out of the Great Depression, and the overwhelming argument against offering safe haven to Jewish refugees was that once on American soil, they would take American jobs. But while that was a valid concern, it was more of an excuse to shield the extent of American bigotry towards Jews fleeing Europe and the probability that they would end up in the ghettos of Warsaw, where more than 300,000 Jews were sent to die.
Laura Delano, cousin to FDR, was quoted as saying “Twenty thousand charming children would all too soon grow into 20,000 ugly adults,” when asked about allowing Jewish children to seek refuge in America. Yet, a year later, America passed legislation to accept refugees from England while leaving Jewish refugees to the mercy of the Nazi regime.
Fast forward to today where more than half of United States Governors have publicly stated that they oppose accepting Syrian refugees to ensure the security of American citizens from possible terrorist attacks. Chris Christie, Republican presidential candidate and Governor of New Jersey, even went so far as to say that he would not even allow 3-year-old Syrian orphans to enter his home state.
So now, as millions of people who have been made refugees by the combined military actions of America and its NATO allies are left with nothing but hope, it remains to be seen if they will be abandoned and left to die in the same way Jewish refugees were in 1939, or if American politicians will abandon bigotry to offer salvation to those who have been displaced by its quest for global military supremacy.
