Good morning,
Hong Kong police
arrested media mogul Jimmy Lai and raided the newsroom of his
pro-democracy newspaper, Apple Daily, using communist China's new
"national security" law.
Local media
report that police arrested Lai's two sons as well.
U.S. Secretary of
State Mike Pompeo condemned the arrest, saying it is "further
proof that the CCP has eviscerated Hong Kong’s freedoms and eroded the
rights of its people."
