Project Veritas Catches Anarchist Group Planning to Set off 'Stink Bombs' at Deploraball
In part 1 of a new undercover video series, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas catches left-wing activists allegedly planning to use stink bombs to disrupt an event scheduled this week for Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 45th president of the United States.

The leftists captured on film were allegedly targeting the Deploraball, a grass-roots event being held on Thursday at the National Press Club “to celebrate and honor … the passionate citizens who worked social media, knocked on doors, and endured harassment to support” Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.On Friday, several news outlets reported that a group of left-wing activists from the “D.C. Anti-Fascist Coalition,” part of a broader effort called “#DisruptJ20” (for January 20th, the date of the inauguration) had been captured on tape discussing plans to crash the Deplorable, disrupt the parade at the inauguration, and target specific individuals.
As PJ Media reported last week, #DisruptJ20 has been quite open about its goal of preventing the peaceful transfer of power.
The new Project Veritas video shows exactly what types of nasty disruptions the #DisruptJ20 activists had in mind. In part 1, we see them allegedly planning to set off butyric acid “stink bomb” devices at the party. As a backup plan, they also speak about triggering the fire sprinkler system, forcing attendees to evacuate outside into the cold.
Luke Kuhn, of the D.C. Anti-Fascist Coalition, is heard on the video actually threatening the city government of Washington, D.C., and the police if they try to stop them:
"The message has to be, we do not recognize the city government either," Kuhn says. "If you try to close us down we will look for your house, we will burn it. We will physically fight the police if they try to steal one of our places. We will go to war and you will lose."
The group's spokeswoman put out a memo to its members after they discovered they had been infiltrated.

During the campaign, Project Veritas had been very effective at exposing how the organized left had worked with the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee to stage protests and to incite violence at Donald Trump’s events using a practice known as "bird-dogging." The goal was to create a sense of anarchy surrounding the candidate and it was working until O'Keefe exposed their dark agenda.
Now, O’Keefe has apparently revealed further plans to create anarchy and disorder around Trump’s inauguration. And, as he points out in the video, the actions planned by the activists could run afoul of anti-terrorism laws.O’Keefe and Project Veritas say that they shared the results of their investigation with the FBI, the Secret Service, and the D.C. Metro Police.
O’Keefe concludes in the video: “Just to be clear, we don’t have a problem with people protesting peacefully or voicing their First Amendment rights, that’s protected by the Constitution. But in this case, Disrupt J20 says openly that their plan is to shut down the inauguration. The question is where do these people draw the line.”
Remember this is only part 1 of their investigation in which O'Keefe targeted the lowest of the low-hanging fruit. More videos are to come and the left has already started a counter-narrative that Project Veritas was trying to pay peaceful organizations to incite violence at the inauguration. O'Keefe counters that Project Veritas merely "watched the planning and recorded."

#DisruptJ20 (the same group that was last week caught on tape admitting that they want to prevent the peaceful transfer of power) is now trying to run with the narrative that they knew they were being videotaped and were just playing along.

After two Project Veritas videos shined a light on their nefarious activities, the activist coalition DisruptJ20 has "dramatically scaled back" their plans to sabotage the inauguration of Donald Trump, according to reports.
Legba Carrefour, the self-described "glam anarchist" who was caught on tape plotting bridge and train blockades, came up with a convenient cover story for the media. “The amount of chaos is being intentionally overstated” by his group, he said.

“By virtue of us making those claims, it whips people up into the kind of panic that accidentally ends up causing the chaos we want. You can say ‘all of Metro is being blockaded’ and people will stay home,” the local anarchist says.
Carrefour, who has for weeks shared with reporters grandiose visions of a traffic-blocking "clusterf--k," tells U.S. News the current plan is to block just one bridge on Friday morning.He asked that the particular roadway not be identified.
And U.S. News obliged.
After the release of the second video, Carrefour said the blockade planning it featured has been scaled back in response to recently identified official road closings.
It appears that they won't be preventing the peaceful transition of power after all.
The group claimed after the story broke that they were just leading Project Veritas on. Now they seem to be suggesting that it was all part of a disinformation campaign to depress attendance at the inauguration and related events and balls.
