Collins, Rubio Help Muslims Pass Senate Resolution 118 to Criminalize Free Speech
Senate Resolution 118 was drafted by Muslim organizations, EmergeUSA and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), introduced by Senator Kamala Harris and co-sponsored by fellow Progressive Dianne Feinstein and Republican Senators Marco Rubio and Susan Collins.
The ;purpose of the blasphemy law, correction Senate Resolution 118 is to:
Condemn[s] hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias, discrimination, incitement to violence, or animus targeting a minority in the United States. Affirms that the United States stands united in condemning hate and evil in all forms. Rejects hate-motivated crime as an attack on the fabric of society and the ideals of pluralism and respect.
The illusion of inclusion:
The language (below) was inserted into Senate Resolution 118 to provide the illusion of protecting all ethnicities and/or cultures in order to ensure the passage of Senate Resolution 118 although it is clearly intended to benefit the Muslims by infringing on the liberties of others. See excerpt of Senate Resolution 118 below.
Whereas, in the past several years, violent crimes, threats of violence, and other incidents of hate-motivated targeting of religious, racial, and ethnic minorities have increased across the United States;Whereas, in 2015, hate crimes targeting Muslims in the United States increased by 67 percent, reaching a level of violence targeting Muslim Americans that the United States had not experienced since the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, attacks, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation;Whereas, in 2015, anti-Semitic incidents increased in the United States for the second straight year, according to the Anti-Defamation League’s 2015 Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents, which describes trends such as the tripling of assaults targeting Jews since 2012 and the rise of online harassment and hate speech directed at Jewish journalists and individuals through social media;Whereas, in 2015, anti-Semitic incidents at institutions of higher education nearly doubled compared to the number of those incidents in 2014, and during the 2016–2017 school year there has been an increase in white supremacist activity on college campuses across the United States, according to the Anti-Defamation League;
[Sidebar: While researching NYPD profiling earlier, I ran across the language placed in the resolution (above), “hate crimes targeting Muslims in the United States increased by 67 percent, reaching a level of violence targeting Muslim Americans that the United States had not experienced since the aftermath of the September 11, 2001” or something similar. It is attributed to 2015. I believe that the language was included in court filing documents back in 2005 or 2006.]
Whose side is the U. S. Senate on?
Thank you Marco Rubio. Thank you Susan Collins. Emgage posted the following to its Facebook page:

Islamic organizations with nefarious connections are just getting started and the likes of Rubio and Collins are more than willing to betray their constituency but it doesn’t end there.
Enter H.Res.257 to the U. S. Congress
H.Res.257 was introduced in Congress on April 6, 2017 by Barbara Comstrock (R-Va) one day after passage of its counter part in the Senate. The resolution which contains the same language as S. Res. 118 was on 04/21/2017 was referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations.
Gatestone Institute by Judith Berman
…A House Resolution can be reintroduced as legislation.H.Res. 257 urges“…the development of an interagency task force led by the Attorney General and bringing together the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Education, the Department of State, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to collaborate on the development of effective strategies and efforts to detect and deter hate crime in order to protect minority communities”. The House Resolution was referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary on April 6 and from there it was referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations on April 21.Americans should be concerned about these resolutions, especially the part of the House Resolution, which urges the establishment of an “interagency task force led by the Attorney General … on the development of effective strategies and efforts to detect and deter hate crime in order to protect minority communities…”
Why do we need new hate crime laws since there are already laws on the books? And why are Muslim organizations pushing such legislation?
Enter CAIR, MPAC and EmergeUSA.
…The drafters of Senate Resolution 118 and House Resolution 257, are two Muslim organizations, EmgageUSA (formerly known as EmergeUSA) and the Muslim Public Affairs Council. This is what EmgageUSA published on its website on April 6, 2017:“We are excited to report that EmergeUSA and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) worked with Senator Kamala Harris to introduce Senate Resolution #118, which was passed unanimously today. The historic resolution is the first of its kind to condemn hate crimes and other forms of racism. The hate crimes extend beyond targeting just Muslim and Jewish Americans to also include religious minorities such as Hindu and Sikh Americans… EmergeUSA is committed to engaging, and empowering the Muslim American community via the political process by working towards making federal and state legislation and policies more equitable for the Muslim American community.”EmgageUSA goes on to tell its members to thank senator Kamala Harris and her co-sponsors, as well as to urge their congressmen to support “similar resolutions” when they come up, and to also urge their local representatives to adopt such resolutions. In other words, this campaign is to be a nationwide effort…
What a difference a decade makes…NOT!
The tactics to used to pass Senate Resolution 118 were applied by Muslim organizations after the September 11, 2001 Islamic terrorist attacks when lawsuits for were filed against the New York City Police Department for profiling Muslims. Bring in the Black community, then the Hispanic community, etc.
Every group under the Progressive umbrella hijacked the Civil Rights movement and the Black community to invalidate law enforcement’s right and ability to flesh out radical Islam.
Racial profiling: A matter of survival by Michelle Malkin, USA Today 8/16/2004
When our national security is on the line, “racial profiling” — or more precisely, threat profiling based on race, religion or nationality — is justified. Targeted intelligence-gathering at mosques and in local Muslim communities, for example, makes perfect sense when we are at war with Islamic extremists….Smoke-and-mirrors argumentsIn the wake of 9/11, opponents of profiling have shifted away from arguing against it because it is “racist” and now claim that it endangers security because it is a drain on resources and damages relations with ethnic and religious minorities, thereby hampering intelligence-gathering. These assertions are cleverly fine-tuned to appeal to post-9/11 sensibilities, but they are unfounded and disingenuous. The fact that al-Qaeda is using some non-Arab recruits does not render profiling moot. As long as we have open borders, Osama bin Laden will continue to send Middle East terrorists here by land, sea and air. Profiling is just one discretionary investigative tool among many.
Enter 2017. Osama Bin Laden is burning in hell, Al Qaeda has got its mojo back and thanks to Obama the incompetent ISIS for the past several years pursue its scorched earth strategy continuing to leave its mark across the globe.
Yet, our elected officials are drunk on political correctness and have fallen for the “smoke and mirror arguments” regurgitated by factions in bed with Islamic terrorism.
How awful is that? Quite. If we have learned nothing else from 9/11 through the past few years under Barack Obama and to date, it is that suicide is fatal.
Using the typical Progressive cover, EMERGE USA (an acronym for Empowering, Motivating, & Educating Resourceful Grassroots Entities) was founded as a corporation back in November 2006, under the name—the Center for Voter Advocacy portrays itself as a community organization “to educate, engage and empower American Muslim communities through educational events, voter initiatives, and leadership development for the purpose of creating a community of equitable, knowledgeable, and motivated citizens.”EMERGE USA like its Islamic counterparts has ties to Islamic terrorism.
Over the years, EMERGE has held a number of events at terror-linked mosques, like: (a) Masjid Al-Qassam (a.k.a. Islamic Community of Tampa), which was founded by Palestinian Islamic Jihadleader Sami al-Arian, and (b) Masjid Darul Uloom (based in Pembroke Pines, Florida), where “Dirty Bomber” Jose Padilla was a student and the late al-Qaeda Global Operations Chief Adnan el-Shukrijumah was a prayer leader. EMERGE has also sponsored speeches made by various Muslim extremists, such as Sayed Ammar Nakshawani, who has called for the destruction of Israel.EMERGE’s executive director, Nauman Sabit Abbasi, is the president of public relations for the Islamic Foundation of South Florida (IFSF), a radical mosque that seeks to “establish a powerful base for the growth of Islam in North America,” and whose youth leader once wrote on the Internet: “[Y]es, Allah … has Decreed that we will over-take the World in numbers…” Abbasi’s Facebook page urged to people to “support the true leadership of the world who are at war with Zoinists.”The co-founder and co-chairman of EMERGE is Khurrum Wahid, who is a practicing South Florida attorney and a registered agent of IFSF. According to the Florida Bar, Wahid “has defended individuals charged with allegedly committing or conspiring to commit acts of terrorism…” Some of his clients, past and present, include:
- Rafiq Abdus Sabir, who received a 25-year prison sentence for conspiring to provide material support to al-Qaeda;
- Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, an al-Qaeda member who was sentenced to life in prison for plotting to assassinate President George W. Bush;
- Hafiz Muhammed Sher Ali Khan, convicted of conspiring with others to funnel at least $50,000 to the Pakistani Taliban for the purpose of facilitating the murder of American troops overseas; and
- Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami al-Arian.
Wahid, who spoke at a May 2010 event sponsored by the Islamic Circle of North America, once created a legal fund for Tashnuba Hayder, a girl whom the FBI had identified as a potential suicide bomber. Considered an imminent threat to the security of the United States, the girl was later deported to Bangladesh. In 2011, Wahid himself was placed on a U.S. government terrorist watch list.…
It is more than disheartening that the Senate couldn’t find time to work on the healthcare bill, but they managed to pass Senate Res. 118 drawn up by those with an agenda that is not compliant with the U. S. Constitution nor is it beneficial to non-Muslim Americans.
